- Construction and containment type. Single-wall vs. double-wall, steel vs. poly, and containment specifications all affect what a buyer can legally install it for.
- Inspection and testing history. Documentation of tank integrity testing builds buyer confidence considerably, especially for below-ground tanks.
- Location and logistics. Tanks are heavy and often require special transport — being upfront about site access and loading logistics avoids surprises after a sale is agreed.
